Former Ask Italian in Headingley fully let following substantial redevelopment.
The former Ask Italian in Headingley has undergone substantial redevelopment and is now fully let to two new tenants.
The 3,700 square foot art deco building occupies a prominent position on North Lane and has been redesigned by MDA Architects to create two self-contained units that provide contemporary office and leisure space, with full height glazing.
38 North Lane, which is owned by ATC Properties, was let prior to completion by Leeds-based joint agents Fox Lloyd Jones and WSB Property Consultants.
The 1,750 square foot first floor offices have been let to Bark and Bite, a specialist team of creatives, animators, designers, and producers, which is relocating from the city centre. The new offices, which are accessed through a private entrance, have an external terrace, air conditioning, toilet and shower facilities, and a passenger lift. They also have their own allocated car parking.
Taking the prominent 1,990 square foot ground floor is independent restaurant operator, Jino’s Thai Café, who after 18 years in their previous premises on Otley Road, Headingley decided to move into larger and more central restaurant premises.
This latest development by ATC Properties follows the transformation of 44 North Lane in January into high specification Grade A offices, which the business now occupies, together with letting and property management company YourNest where just 3,714 sq. ft. remains with suites available from 925 sq. ft.
Speaking about the new scheme, Tim Watts of ATC Properties Limited, said,
“38 North Lane is a landmark building and well known by everyone in the area. The architects have done a fantastic job in combining the wonderful art deco features with such a contemporary design.”
“Headingley is an extremely popular area which continues to attract great leisure operators together with forward-thinking and creative businesses. We are therefore extremely proud to have successfully transformed these great buildings to compliment such a vibrant suburb of Leeds.
Nick Salkeld, director of Fox Lloyd Jones, added,
“Once again ATC Properties has delivered a stunning transformation of a landmark building, creating an inspiring workspace for the highly creative business, Bark and Bite, and a fantastic space for the established Jino’s brand locally. ATC continue to set new benchmarks across Headingley with cutting edge office design catering to forward thinking businesses.”
