Fox Lloyd Jones promotes Adam Watson to Associate and recruits Will Smithies to the team

Chartered surveyor and project manager, Adam Watson, has been promoted to Associate at Leeds-based, multi-disciplinary agency, Fox Lloyd Jones, where he specialises in project and development management.

Adam joined Fox Lloyd Jones in 2017 and is delivering a number of complex, high-profile schemes in Yorkshire, including the former Yorkshire Post residential development, pre-sold to Grainger Plc, and Croda’s multi-million-pound distribution hub in Goole, for Tritax Symmetry.

Speaking about Adam’s promotion Simon Lloyd, director of Fox Lloyd Jones, said,

“We are delighted to recognise Adam’s contribution to the business, with this promotion, and the excellent service levels he delivers to our clients. He extolls the values of Fox Lloyd Jones in his leadership of projects and creative thinking and has shown himself to be a real asset since joining the practice from London.”

Adam, who is looking forward to developing his career further with the firm, said,

“I was grateful for the opportunity given to me by Fox Lloyd Jones when I relocated back to Yorkshire. I have been able to develop my own skills, as well as learning a great deal by working closely with the experienced teams within the company.

“Fox Lloyd Jones has an excellent reputation in the region and, as such, is involved in high profile developments, which I have had the privilege of delivering.”

Will Smithies has also joined Fox Lloyd Jones from local firm Bowman Riley. In his new role, he will be supporting the building surveying and project management teams at Fox Lloyd Jones, as they continue to grow with new and existing clients.

Speaking about the appointment, Will said,

“It is a great opportunity for me to further develop my skillsets and take on that next challenge in my career. I’m really looking forward to working closely with the team and getting heavily involved in a number of exciting projects at Fox Lloyd Jones.”
